Bell UH-1B "Huey" Iroquois, A2-1020, No.9 Squadron RAAF, Vietnam War, 1966.
This Huey is one of two that were involved in the resupply operations supporting one of the most important battles that Australian troops were engaged in during the Vietnam war, The Battle of LONG TAN, 18th August, 1966. A2-1020 is now preserved at the RAAF Museum, Point Cook, Victoria. This Museum is well worth a visit. Staff at the museum were closely involved in the preperation of this model.
