Hamilton's Hobbies resin conversion and detail sets are only produced on an opportunity basis. If not in stock at the time of ordering, the re-supply time can be considerable.

The Australian CA-27 Sabre was based on the North American F-86F but was improved by the Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation by fitting a Rolls Royce Avon engine and replacing the 6 x 0.50cal machine gun armament with two 30 mm ADEN cannon. These modifications resulted in a major alteration the nose profile and minor changes to fuselage ducts/panel lines etc.
There is no full fuselage conversion available in 1/32 scale that would fully capture all the required changes - it would not be cost effective to produce one for the sort of demand that could be expected.
However, this resin conversion nose by Hamilton Hobbies provides you with 95% of what is needed to effect the conversion.
(The rest, such as rescribing panel lines and adding and/or modifying ducts and vents - you will have to research and do yourself if you want absolute accuracy!)
This conversion comprises a resin nose intake to replicate the larger intake of the Avon powered Sabre and the gun ports for the twin Aden cannon armament.
Recommended for the Kinetic/Italeri kits. The conversion will work on the Hasegawa kit, but with extra effort.
Recommended for EXPERIENCED MODELLERS. Some clean-up of the parts, and filling/blending/sanding/ will be required. Instructions provided include pictures of the aircraft. The instructions are brief….the set is converion is of very limited availability and producing detailed instructions as you would receive with a name brand kit is not within the scope of this sort of product. Basically, if you are not up to a bit of modelling effort and using your own references, do NOT buy this set!
PLEASE NOTE: Hamilton Hobbies is not a commercial resin producer. Do not expect castings of the standard produced by "big name" conversion manufacturers. That said, these are very good quality "home-cast" conversions recommended for experienced modellers. Hamilton Hobbies conversions are simply the result of personal interest conversions made by a talented modeller who is willing to share his efforts with other like minded modellers.
