Designed for the Special Hobby kit, this 3D printed RESIN propeller hub and blades features the correct length and profile for the blades to provide an accurate rendition of the Wirraway propeller.
The Special Hobby kit blade chord is too wide - almost paddle-blade like in comparison to this improved set.
Includes a simple assembly jig to ensure the blades are correctly aligned.
The Wirraway was fitted with a 10 foot diameter de Havilland Australia ADH2 constant speed propeller. It was manufactured in Australia under license from Hamilton Standard. The version fitted to the Wirraway corresponds to the Hamilton Standard 3D40 constant speed hub with 6101A-3 forged aluminium blades.
Recommended Kit. Special Hobby. Use on other kits at modeller discretion.
