The Meteor NF.11 night fighter version was developed by the Armstrong Whitworth Aircraft Company during late 1949. RAF serial number WM262 was used for trial of the EMI/Vickers ‘BLUE BOAR’ guided bomb weapon system and after initial tests the aircraft was shipped to Australia for use in further trials.
This decal provides all the required airframe stencil data markings and the RAAF serial number.
No parts are provided for the BLUE BOAR trials installation. The external appearance was only minimaly different to the standard aircraft. The instructions provide pictures that will assist the modeller wishing to scratch build the mods.
Designed for used with the Classic Airframes kit.
Use with other kits at modeller discretion.
