P-51D, CA-18 Mustang Hamilton Standard / DHA Cuffless Chisel Tip Propeller Blades

1/48 scale RESIN prop blades.

Hamilton Standard 11ft diameter uncuffed chisel tip propellers (part number K-6547A) were fitted to most late production P-51D Mustang aircraft. 

They were also license manufactured by de Havilland Australia (DHA) for the Australian CAC CA-18 Mustang Mk.22 and 23.

For RAAF modellers, applicable type/serial ranges are:

*  P-51D Mustang A68-722 to A68-813,

*  CA-18 Mustang Mk.22 A68-81 to A68-94,

*  CA-18 Mustang Mk.22 A68-187 to A68-200,

*  CA-18 Mustang Mk.23 A68-121 to A68-186.

For other services, the modeller will need to check their references for particular airframe applications.

No particular kit recommendation.  Supplied as 4 x individual prop blades, spinner not included.  Though a simple procedure for advanced modellers, please be aware you will need to determine fitting procedure, alignment and required pitch angle.
