The Brisbane Tank, a jettisonable external fuel tank often called a drop tank, was built by the Ford Motor Company in Brisbane, Australia, for the USAAF.
The tanks were fitted to early P-47 Thunderbolts in the SWPA. The tanks became available in August 1943 and approximately 3,000 were built.
The tank requires minimal preparation, just priming and a gentle sanding prior to being painted.
Suitable for any kit with test and adjustment of the attachment point to suit the model.
Paint and Glue are not included.
