The type designation Dornier Do 28 comprises two different twin-engine STOL utility aircraft, manufactured by Dornier Flugzeugbau GmbH in Germany.
* Do 28 A/B, (the subject of this kit) a development of the Do 27, first flew in 1959; and
* Do 28 D Skyservant, a larger redesign, first flight 1966.
Most Do 28s served with the German Air Force and Marineflieger. Many were used by other air forces around the world in the communications and utility role.

This is high quality cast resin kit of low volume production for a limited market. It is not like a new 'Tami-Gawa' mass produced plastic kit of yet another Bf 109!
Instructions state; "decals are home made, so they require a bit of attention when cutting and applying".
